Who we are

Second Form Pty Ltd, ABN 26 699 197 245 (we, us), runs the Second Form studio on Campbell Street, Yarraville, Victoria. This policy covers this website and the mailing list. You can reach us at yarraville@secondform.com.au.

What we collect

When you join the list we collect your full name, your email address, where you came to the site from (for example Instagram or a link a friend sent), and the time you joined. When you confirm your email we record that too, and if you unsubscribe we record when.

We do not collect health information on this website. We do not use cookies for advertising. Our hosting provider records ordinary server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and performance.

Why we collect it

To send you what you asked for: a welcome when you confirm, updates on the build (about one a month), invitations to tour the studio before it opens, and news of founding membership, founding pricing and the opening. To count where people heard about us. To answer you when you write to us.

We only email you if you asked us to and then confirmed your address. Every email we send identifies us and carries an unsubscribe link that works without logging in. We act on an unsubscribe within five business days.

Who sees it

Nobody outside Second Form and the services we use to run the site and the list: Resend (which holds the list and sends our emails) and Vercel (which hosts the website). Each is bound by its own privacy terms. We never sell, rent or pass your details on. All for One, our sister studio, does not receive the Second Form list.

Where it is kept

The list is held by Resend, our email provider, which stores data in the United States. The website’s server logs are held by Vercel, also in the United States. Until you confirm your email we store nothing: your details travel only inside the confirmation link we send you. We keep your details while you are on the list. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address and the record of your consent and unsubscribe so we do not email you again, and delete the rest within 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email yarraville@secondform.com.au. If you ask us to delete your details, we keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list so you are not emailed again.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, email yarraville@secondform.com.au and tell us what happened. We will respond in writing within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date below changes with it.
